Wood is good. I nominate this soon to be released Teres. Gorgeous. I know some of you lean more towards the industrial/metal/plexi look, but I have always like anything wood. Show me your favorite.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but I think an immaculate thorens 124 is the most beautiful TT out there. It has the looks of a well-taken care of vintage car. Here is a very nice one:

One day I will get one of these with an SME 3012 and a nice Neumann cartridge.

To me, the Amazon Reference is the most elegant tt:

I like plain, elegant no-nonsense design. So I'd give my vote to the Thorens TD146/147, TD 160 (Super), Linn LP 12 - and I also liked the Technics SL-M1 (just googled for it - pic here: http://www.audioscope.net/catalog/pr...products_id=36).

Greetings from Munich!

P.S.: I just googled on and even found my first half-decent record player, the Technics SL-5 over here: http://www.vintagetechnology.com/ite...hnics_sl_5.htm - my own one had that typical dark greenish-brown Technics metallic color, though, and I've upgraded it with an AT cartridge (might have been an AT-112EP, but I'm not so sure anymore...).

probably not the most beautiful ever, but I really liked Dreski's VPI Scout. simple, yet stunning. sorry if it is too boring for some.

"la luz" in spanish means "the light." So maybe they just changed some letters. Also, "luz" is pronounced the same exact way as "luce."
