Hi guys,

After devoting much love to my headphone collection, I definitely need a pair of noise cancelling.
I find myself spending a huge portion of my time flying, and as much as I love them, both my ES7 or my ESW9 just are not enough... ...

I read that, although in terms of SQ they s@%$, the Bose QC15 are top of line in terms of noise cancelling...
Head good things about the AT and the Senns too, but just keep listening that in terms of noise cancelling the Bose are unmatched. Any experience? Is this true?

Of course I usually hear some music out of my iPod or MBPro while flying, but the noise just kills you..


Any help would be much appreciated!

You're much better off with some canalphones at the price. Noise isolating is much better than noise cancelling. Marcus's blog here makes out the difference:

There's some fantastic canalphones that not only isolate more, but sound infinately better sound quality wise at the price of the QC15.

Noise cancelling is a joke compared to IEM isolation. Not to mention how it affects SQ. Noise cancelling was only developed for the military that needed to use a large headphones w/ the ability to turn it on and off depending on conditions.

I know... the thing is that just quite can adapt myself to canal phones... the sound inside my head makes me crazy!
