Hello,

I have a set of UE 7's that I use as my daily driver. I've wanted a set of bluetooth earphones for a while now. Has anyone used the nobel audio BTS with the ultimate ears headphones? Anyone have a better bluetooth solution? I have two concerns:

1) I want a shorter cable, but worry the one that comes with the nobel audio bts wont fit my earphones.  Anyone have an example of nobel audio cable being used with ultimate ears? I'm worried also about the durability of the connectors. Could i get an extender if I wanted to use the earphones wired? I really like the stock cable on the UE7s... is there any one who makes a similar quality (connector) that could be a shorter cable?

2) How is the connectivity? Does it drastically reduce iphone battery?

thanks!

Can't really comment on other BT solutions (haven't used the BTS either), as there aren't that many out there that allows for the use of your own headphones/IEMs. A similar one might be Lear's, but that's on pre-order.

1 - Noble's cable are the standard 2 pin, which should work with UE. You could check with other custom cable makers, but I don't think many will have a cable shorter than 48".

2 - Previous reports have the connectivity varying with distance, depending on the music source. It will reduce iPhone battery since it is required to broadcast the signal via BT.

We are able to build IEM cables at any length you like. Simply let us know by email.

Do you also have the UE extruding connectors ?

Our CIEM connectors work with recessed, flush, and extruded sockets. That said, due to our connectors being in straight form (not angled), they will stick out on UE CIEMs.
