@luishi5000 3-4V input is no problem...can handle hot DACs.

I received the Pietus M from CT on the latest shipment, and I love it. So much solidity. Runs cool. User friendly. Very engaging listen with my Senn HD800s. I'd swear that they were made for each other. I'd like to try one of the high-end Audio Technica headphones on it.
I also have a Headamp GS-X mini, which to my ears has slightly more detail and more open highs, and maybe slightly better staging (at more than 2X the price ...), but not nearly so addictive, even when EQ'd it for the HD800s.

Thanks, @mikecheck95 . Appreciate the support!

Yes, unfortunately the costs to make them have gone up significantly.

Thanks to everyone who has checked in with me about timing. The next run should be delivered in late March...

Unfortunately, the long term effects of the covid 19 debacle continue to affect parts supply, and the scarcity of parts does drive the price up. The situation can be particularly difficult for smaller specialty businesses. Just glad that Nitsch is still going strong with several excellent products. 👍

Wow how interesting! I have both of these and felt the opposite. I feel like the cheaper Pietus actually provides a more consistent headspace than the GS-X mini… I can’t be sure of course but that’s what my instincts tell me…

Lol I'm gonna throw a curve ball and say I find the cheaper Piety even more fun to listen to than the Pietus Maximus. Granted not as refined and smooth.

I haven't try the GS-X Mini though.

But it almost feel like as you go up in price you start to gain more technicality but also start losing the fun sound.
