So I just got my Piety today and tried it out. Just making sure it’s not a defective unit. I connected my Harmonicdyne Zeus and even on low gain there is noise and get higher as I turn the volume pot higher.

Same thing happens on my 109 pro. It’s on both low and high gain after 10 o’clock till it ends.

There was a Piety on ebay yesterday for $200 that went fast. I'm not in the market but I do check in on the Schiit on the bay.

Originally we were told that there'd be a limit of 1000 Piety units. Mine is 722. CeeTee has never announced a new run of Pietys, so perhaps he had a few dozen left over
after the original run of 1000 was completed. That's the only explanation that I can think of for the current additional Piety stock at the Nitsch website.
that's what i was thinking as well; not to throw shade at Christian, but i (and i presume many others) would have appreciated a email/headfi post/any other form of contact to tell us that there are more sets available
I have seen them come back in stock and sell out about 3-4 times now on the site over the last 2 weeks. This last run has been going for several days now. I am in a Discord group where some have ordered recently with SN's over 1000.
The price did go up to 165 though for the last few restocks. The first 1-2 were still original price.

IMHO, based on its performance the Piety is still a bargain at $165.

Mine is over 1000, 1073 to be exact
Just ordered one out of curiosity. Did the same with the Geshelli J2 Socketed DAC with Sparkos op-amps. Will probably take a listen and then end up gifting them both to my son for his DCA Aeons.
Not sure why people are up in arms over the ability of Nitsch to build more than 1,000 units. Sure, the initial run was 1,000 because that's what they had the parts for. It appears they now have more parts. Good for them!

Indeed! Being able to build / deliver more Piety should not be a reason to have a ‘connitschption’

Grabbed one too for sake of curiosity. Very smooth and slightly bassy amp, compared briefly to Magni 3+ which played more treble forward and lighter in sound, smoothness is not there compared to Piety. My unit is 1082, preferred high gain, low gain was perhaps too polite.
