2024 end but still liking my butastur
this year i got lucky to try many kilo bucks / summit-fi iems, but still not finding something worthy upgrade from butastur (well i think macbeth kinda direct upgrade from butastur but that damn price tho)

Just wondering to the peeps here who've tried Tea Pros, how do they live up to the Butastur?
Kept seeing people hyping it up, but all I have is my Butastur and havent had the chance to try Tea Pros.

I don't have the butastur, so I am commenting on the graph and as a former Tea Pro listener.

Tea Pro to me had a thick bass, which is why i don't have them anymore. I find it helpful to normalize around 500Hz when comparing two graphs. If you do that, you'll see the Butastur has much less bass (-4db approx), and much more energy (+5db approx) in the 4k-11k range. So they are really very different sound profiles. They should not compare at all. It would be hard to find two popular IEMs that are more different.
