I just got my ATH-AD700's and because of their dark purple color i associated it with Covenant technology from Halo. Therefore i nicknamed my headphones "Truth and Reconcilliation". (A Covenant warship from the first Halo)

It would be interesting to know others nicknames for their cans

I affectionately refer to my Sennheisers as... the "Sennheisers".

Wow, that nickname seriously took it too far. I just refer to my headphones by their company name, then their model number.

For example, if somebody asks me what headphones are hanging on the edesk next to me, I say "Oh, that's the Sennheiser HD 600."

My Grados are "Bob" and my Beyers are "Dieter".

Of course I don't really name my headphones - that would be weird. Besides, I'm too busy coming up with new names for my genitalia.
