Hi all,

I have been listening to my KSC75 and RE2+E5 for a while and liking them. I made an opening in my budget for an upgrade. But I don't know which one to upgrade, the iem or portable?

I like the sound of KSC75 better (I guess because it is more open and sparkly) than RE2 but I use RE2 more because of its portability and especially isolation. I researched something that sounds both of them and have isolation, and cheap and I narrowed it down to PX200 II and RE0.(though I am still open to suggestions). I know they are very different animals but I still need help to figure out which one delivers better sound quality and which would be a better choice in the long run, considering that I won't be able to buy another headphone for a while. Any suggestions/ideas?

cheers,

RE0 will blow PX200 out of the water. No contest at all. Just get RE0. There's nothing better under 100 dollars anyway.

^ The PX200 and PX200-II are very different animals. I'd still probably pick the RE0 for sound and with portability a requirement the IEM wins hands down.

I'd go the RE0s.
Ive had px200 for a short time and still have px100.
I didnt like the bass on the px200 at all (lack of it).
px100 has much better bass and crispy highs.
I prefer the RE0s over the px100 mainly due to portability.
Treble extension and clarity on mids & highs are amazing on the RE0s.

Thanks a lot guys. It seems like RE0 is the way to go. I guess Joker's SQ rating of RE0 9.5 vs 8 for PX200 II is qualitatively valid, as confirmed by him.

cheers,
