I am sure the hotel can call a cab for you. I am not sure that there will be many roaming the streets in that area regardless of the time.

Have the hotel make an appointment and have the cab prearranged. The hotel is out in the boonies a bit (imagine hailing a cab from Daly City or San Mateo) so you can't rely on having taxies at all hours of the day.

Best,

No, don't be silly, although I AM bringing an 11 foot Wi-Fi booster antenna to install in my room... that shouldn't be a problem, right?

Seriously, once we get the names together, we should all PM everybody on the list with cell #'s, arrival times and airlines so we can get in contact once there.

This is great, before reading this thread I was actually considering hiring a Town Car by myself from the airport. Now I can just blow more money on raffle tickets...

EDIT: If anyone is heading to LaGuardia on Sunday morning for a 9AM (or thereabouts) return flight, let me know, so we can split the ride back as well.

Yeah, big trouble with a bullet. No telling what Le Tigre will get us involved in. I can just see the NYPA cops converging on us now.

Ok, NeilPeart, if you must know, gpalmer and arrive at the US Airways terminal at 5:40, so if you can manage to make your way over there without being arrested, I guess you can ride with us. No live animals or snakes, though. If we see any reptiles, you're on your own.

See I was attempting to quietly join the masses, relinquishing my past and moving beyond the ill-repute!

I promise no reptiles THIS time, but a ferret or two surely cannot be protested.

I’ll try to find you before my antics lead me astray…

Does anyone here live in the Howell/Freehold area in Monmouth County, NJ and need/can provide a ride?

So far there are 4 of us carpooling from LaGuardia to the Ramada Adria/Anchor Inn on Friday:

- agile_one and gpalmer arriving 5:40 pm on US Air
- BRBJackson arriving 6:15 on ???
- NeilPeart arriving 5:30 on ???

Anyone else arriving Fri afternoon is welcome to join in - we are using Kelly's Car Service, and they are sending a 14 passenger van. If anyone wants to contact Kelly's directly, their # is: 718 229-4141 Send me a pm if you want to ride with us.

When I first called Kelly's I was told we needed a reservation. When I called last Fri to make one, was told to just call as we got off the plane, and they would meet us, so that's the plan.

I am pm'ing those mentioned above to exchange cell #'s and coordinate meeting up at the airport. We'll have to hustle, because some of us are going to the Bela Fleck gig, and the van for that leaves the Adria at 7:30 or so

. Hopefully we'll have ok traffic, and quick check in. Are you listening, tyrion?

Anyone else arriving LaGuardia in that time frame welcome to join us. We will be using Kelly's Car Service (recommended by the Ramada). Kelly's # is: 718 229-4141 if anyone wants to contact them directly.

For those of us going to the Bela Flek gig, it will be close, as that van plans to leave the Adria at 7:30 - we'll have to hope for good traffic, and quick check-in. tyrion, are you listening?

Gene, I am always listening to what you have to say. My suggestion is that those flying in Friday provide me their flight information which will allow me to check on the flight status after takeoff. If I see there is going to be a delay in any of the flights that will affect departure time, I can make adjustments. Also, once you are on the road to the hotel, if it appears there is going to be a delay Gene can call me. Unlike the current administration, I will do my best to make sure no one is left behind.

Also, I can still meet people in Lower Manhattan for the ride out if anyone is interested.
