I wonder how it would sound if paired up with the beyerdynamic DT990 - 600Ω? If it turns out well, I might just make the jump to this instead of the Schiit Bifrost+Valhalla combo. That is if the introductory price becomes its official price.

I am thinking that might happen in this case as well. I wouldn't see it hitting the $1000 mark. Maybe $800-$900? Unless it goes to $999. Go figure.
