I am using JVC and Ortofon at the moment. Perhaps you could also share your views on the tips you used too, at least we have more views over here

If changed over to spin fits over spiral dots, they stay in my ears better. Triple flange are the best though.

As for JVCs, what size were you using? The reason I ask is I had issues with L which were uncomfortable and M was too small for a good seal. But thanks to the generosity of Sabre2, I got to try size ML and I've never looked back since then. So, you may be between sizes like I am. Just a thought.

I think this stupid iem is inching closer and closer to the number one spot and for some reason that angers me. I'm literally torn between them.

Also, I think the P5 has broadened my audio horizons as well. Gavin needs to make a P5.2, the basshead edition. Get me Ref 1 levels of bass and I'll honestly pay double for this new revision. I don't know if it's possible though.

I'm extremely biased towards the Ref 1 for some unknown reason.

Can the Plus5 be used with custom tips as Westone UM56?

Zx2 and Plus 5 might be the best sounds I've ever heard. Plus root I'd available now too. I might forget the Cowon S and get another zx2 just for the synergy with the Plus 5. Zx2 doesn't even need an amp with the Plus 5 being that sensitive. Definitely give this a listen.
