İ am using my sp1000 as streamer connected trough 2,5mm/rica to Naim pre

Everything is fine except the piano, it is just very bad....there is also a very strong humm when the music is not on

Maybe it is the cable which i bought new just for this.... maybe i will try 3,5/ Din

With Roon i am hoping that SP1000 will act as a good streamer

İs it a bad thing tl keep it in the charger, anyone using sp1000 ilke this willing ti share experince?

If you just have it connected with the 2.5, its not grounded and will buzz, needs properly grounded if going that route, but if the amp isn't balanced inputs, just get a 3.5

Forget about sp 1000 amp/sp1000m. Get Mass Kobo 424/428. This will add a new dimension to sp 1000. This japanese custom made amp has left me startled. Its like i am listening to a new player with a beefy amp. The 3.5mm grounding connection has improved the SQ to a great extent. I have set line out to 1.25v on sp1k. It has adjustable output gain-changing switch for dynamic/planar hp & highly sensitive BA. Drives my lcd i4 with authority. The dynamics & transparency are insane with pitch black background and fast transients. Throw any type of music at it. It excels in all departments imho. Just completed 7 hour long session. Mind Blowing !
The custom cable is made of 10 silver OFC wires; 8 for balanced(2.5mm) & 2 for earth(3.5mm) to pentaconn(4.4mm) connector. Running on 4 Panasonic Eneloop Pro rechargeable batteries (Japan Import).
Highly recommended. Best portable solution imho.
Thank you @Zhanming057.

Wow, this looks fabulous and I love that you are using the same cables as I do. I'm seriously considering this for my setup with my HD800's

It looks much better in real than in pictures.

Yeah I believe that.

I had auditioned lionheart and leonidas before opting for horus.

Thanks, lithiumk, for your response;
About "options", i ( my ears !) prefer "without" .

I love the Flamenco, it is my favorite IEM for sure. I also prefer the sound w/ switches off but it is a nice option to have.

I use Lionheart and happy w/ that pairing. May will try the Leonidas II at some point later.

For the HD800 you might want to go up to a 404 which gets you a bit more power on the XLR output. Use both the 3.5mm and 2.5mm for ground separation will clean up the background considerably.

The two best sub-$10K amps for the HD800 are IMO the Rudistor 030 and the Mass Kobo 394. Mr. Mass's tuning works really well with the HD800 and classical music.
