Does it sound warmer? Please analyze this before having it fixed!!!! IT's what we're all dying to know! Please hurry before they fix it!
Is the different sound because of firmware, or is it truly a different material giving a different sound?
Nevermind, I misinterpreted your post as that you had SS and now the firmware it's CM. I feel like an idiot after rereading.

AK has always said firmware changes don't change the sound signature. I've always found that to be true, but others have said they heard differences in at least one iteration change. I really doubt any perceived change would be major. Personally I wouldn't worry about it.

We are currently running another holiday deal with 15% off the SP1000, SE100 and SR15 for US/Canadian customers in the US E-Store and through participating dealers until December 16th.

AK Never change the sound with an update. Although I’d love to have the possibility of changing the DAC’s filters, I am very happy with the outstanding simplicity of my spk.

@JasonNYC After the latest update, my screen is still flickering at low brightness levels when using the qobuz app. Not a big thing, as it only occurs from time to time but I want to mention it.
Still only when using Qobuz, correct?

Hi Jason,
I started using a new Sandisk micro sd card of 400G since yesterday. I notice that when I switch on my SP1000M, an error message pops-up 'Process system isn't responding. Do you want to close it?'. It is not a big issue because when I press OK nothing happens. However, I was wondering why I get this message each time I switch on the DAP. Any idea?

I've been getting the same error. I'm using a 512GB card.
