Does any one belive this vibration absorbers help improving sq ? I was in a demo show as a listener to listen when with and without those piece. Like a magic to sound, but, it is hard to belive. A person control the track list and each time take out or put in those absorbers, he will play "again" the track. I did not see the tracklist to confirm if he play same track (same record) or have two record of a track for his adversting purpose.
So want to ask if any1 expcerience that goods

If you hear an improvement, then it does improve the sq for you, obviously. Isn´t that all that counts?

@JasonNYC I sometime get stop after a track end, Sp1000 doént play next song and show on screen an error like no device stop due to no network connection (not exactly bcs I dont remember, will take picture next time).
Same of using condition I almost dont get that problem on Ak120ii.
Any tip other than reconnect, restart....or sp1000 has a week wifi moderm or because of thick metal body reduce signal?
@TYATYA are you experiencing issues when playing TIDAL or music stored on the player?

The SP1000 has a newly redesigned Omni-directional Wi-Fi antenna which provides better Wi-Fi coverage than any of our previous players.

To poster who asked about vibration devices, YES YES YES.....they make a huge difference with better components. I use HRS systems under my components or others like Still points or Audiopoints. It all depends on the quality of your system. This is all about 2 channel components or desktop stuff. PM me with any questions. Now you are in my wheel house in regards to audio. This weekend I was auditioning a 300k plus system. Teh cables alone were in the 30k range for 1 interconnect, 2 bi wired runs of speaker cable and a few power cords. They were using 6k specially built platforms under each mono amp, pre amp and turntable, server and DAC. WE also used cable lifters to get the cords off the carpet as the static will also ruin the sound.

I have use my AK380cu in my hand and then placed on a platform and the difference was pretty big to my ears as well as a few others in the room.

@JasonNYC I noticed that Astell & Kern has to two listings for the SP1000SS on their Amazon.de page. One of the units appears to have a lower price than the other. I can't seem to make out any differences from reading their shop pages. So I'm wondering whether there are any differences between them? Is one of the units a B stock model or something like that? The same holds true for the SP1000CU, a cheaper and a more expensive unit are available.

That would be nice, but, to my knowledge, only one price applies to both the SS and the CU. Since you are on an Amazon page, not the Astell&Kern website, the answer is probably that someone is selling cheaper for some reason.

I have to confirm with our global sales team and my German is not good, but it looks like the cheaper one is from a third party seller and not an authorized Astell&Kern dealer.

As stated in our warranty, Astell&Kern cannot honor the warranty for any products not purchased from an authorized dealer.

Well, I've held the AK380 in my head. I've played in on a platform. I've played in on my bed. Unfortunately, they all sounded the same.
