Although I am not new to the world of high end headphones, I know little about high end or relatively high end sources. I will have a DT 880 and a HA-1 Mk II on the way to my house soon, but it appears the missing link will be my source. In the meantime i run off of a Sony CD changer, but this will not do for much longer. What could you recommend as a good source for $300 or less. I know the selections must be limited at this price level, but I am merely a poor college student.

So I need something that will sound better than my Sony but won't break the bank. Thanks a lot guys.

How many people think that the NAD cdps are bright? Are they so much so that some warm interconnects couldn't fix it?

I think you people are just enjoying saying the word NAD!
