My blue version is due today. Looks like I've made the right choice, especially as its bloody hard work finding other options for the UK market. Another strange decision by Sony to sell the Dap but not the official case in the UK. They would have made a mint out of it. Regards gj

i thought about the blue (the same colour i had on my ibasso - its a nice colour blue) but having the blue sony I thought I'd go pink

The miter cases do look nice. But I would worry about the top and bottom still being so exposed. It looks rather unprotected if it were to be dropped in those two spots.

Waiting on the Japanese a306 to arrive that I just won an eBay auction on. Ordered the clear/Smokey black case with the screen protector bundle on Amazon as well as the “fat bear” case that looks a bit more rugged. Will report back when I’ve got em.

Wish there were more case options out there.

Just in case people missed it, there is this option to order the official cases, but it’s really pricey. Also I personally wouldn’t want a flip top. Seems like it would become a nuisance pretty quickly.

I like the silicone one but it’s still too overpriced imo.

I love my Sony flip case. Keeps protected and flip magnetically closed most of time anyway with easy to access side controls. Have glass screen protector on it too.

I would normally get a smoke/clear TPU case but got A307 & Flip Case as a bundle off Amazon Japan so sensible prices.

Icon for Battery Care option enabled. Charges to just under 100%.

Unfortunately, the A306 that I bought from Amazon UK is going back. It doesn't matter what I try to do, it will never scan all of the albums on my sd card and has the habit of deleting some of them from the card. I love the sound from the device, but I'll be going back to my DX170.

It does actually but only like you said by 1mm if that. I'm guessing as it's new it'll be like that until the material beds in? But it does feel great compared to no case where it's a bit slippery in the hand.
