Hi All, does anyone use an external Play Store App for improving the volume sound and equaliser settings on BT devices such as earbuds? If yes can someone suggest any that they've tried and tested. I'd be willing to pay for one from Play Store if it was really good.
Ps loved the posting about DAP Vs mobile, not even a contest, DAP wins ever time. Never played music on my mobile. Bought my first MP3 from a newly started business years ago Amp3 players, and they are still in business 👏👏👏
Cheers GJ

Is the A306 comparable to the zx300 or zx507 in balanced mode in terms of sound?
I don't feel I'm missing Balanced. I always thought the 3.5mm out of A100 series sounded better than the 3.5mm out of ZX507. The Hugo2 & Mojo2 clearly show Balanced is not a requirement in a well design SE design.

What are you talking about?? I use a flac player that boots in 15 seconds to the current song.

You don't need to defend that crap. It would been better not to run this device on android.
Most people using a DAP for just music playback would likely not care if it takes 15s or 45s for it to start from off. Its not like an urgent thing, gives me time to get my wired IEM's out and unravelled :relaxed: Its like savouring a fine wine, not downing a pint for laughs

If you don't need streaming support in a DAP then of course, buy a non-android device that can start quicker and just stay on all the time with hardly any standby battery losses.

I’m gonna be modding an iem cable to take full advantage of the a306’s balanced output. Can anyone out there using balanced verify that this is the layout for the a306? Should be able with a multimeter.

how much stand by better loss does the a306 really have if the screen is off? if it really bothered someone I bet they could just disable it turning off and it would probably go a day or two

Don't actually know. I just always turn my DAP's on then off when not using. I've no issue with an under 1 minute start-up time. Have mine set to auto-off after 1hr if I forget.

If you leave WiFi on it loses for sure.
