I didn't really need the last few things I bought but where would the fun be in buying only necessities.

You know being serious,from my perspective I can't imagine a headphone could sound much better but then we would'nt know others first hand experience pertaining to other headphones.I find it more interesting to listen to members than some clowns review in some magazine.

They are indeed.

I prefer them over the HD650's because of the detail. Plus, they're more comfortable and less dark.

If you don't love the K701's, there must be something wrong with you.

That's what makes this website a fuel for this hobby. Since joining I've learned about things that I never knew I needed

You are absolutely 100% correct about the magazine reviews. I once relied on audio/ HT mags for info but now they are pretty much useless to me....in the 80's Stereo Review was my favorite.

Here at Head-Fi you will read listeners reviews/comments for a product that are contradictory but for the most part you can rely on a general consensus to base your purchases.
