500+ Head-Fier
Did you try it with a Grado (RS line for example). Is there any noise?

Beautiful amp. Enjoy it. (My son is also a Zeeb!)So it arrived!!
just set things up…will post detailed listening impressions with other owners in a separate thread. But I’ll tell you now this thing is fantastic, detailed and incredibly musical with tons of punch…a home run in my opinion!

I'm curious whether going balanced will make a difference...my understanding is that the MHA-200 is not a balanced topology...rather that the XLR inputs and outputs are summed (Jason please correct me if I'm wrong...) But this still should allow for long interconnect runs - which is still nice...
I’m so bummed that the units delivered so far are not headfiers .....never even heard of it. Maybe 1 guy. I know we have some headfiers getting them in the next few daysI’m not sure this is true. In order to reduce noise on a long balanced run, the two components interconnected require differential circuitry in order to cancel out any noise picked up by the cable.
On another note, I’m looking forward to hearing from owners how they like their purchase as well as lots of pictures!
