So far so good. I’m noting similar battery usage with the iSilencer + DFR vs. DFR alone, but haven’t done exhaustive testing. Seems like about 10% battery use per hour with an iPhone 8.
As far as performance, I’m very happy with the iSilencer so far. The noise floor sounds reduced. It’s not as large of an effect as the iPurifier 2 or iUSB nano, but still worth the price for me. When plugged in, running iSilencer plus the iPurifier sounds even better. The main effect I notice is less distorted treble without loss of detail. Also the music sounds smoother and more relaxing. Bass seems more defined as well and is consistent with a site I saw that measured most of the noise reduction in the bass frequencies.
