Which is better?
all of this. Nowadays, unless you're unwilling to move beyond the apple ecosystem, there is no reason to buy an ipod anymore... Come to think of it, I don't know anyone that's gotten one in the last several years, what with cell phones being a thing...Why do you want an ipod? There are many other brands of audio players. What do you want in a player? How much storage? How much battery life? What size do you want the player to be? Do you want one with a touchscreen, or tactile buttons? How much do you want to spend?

assuming you can put them in (and I don't know if this has been verified yet) you could get a fiio x5/x5ii and put two 2 200gb micro SD cards in it... That's pretty close to a 512gb ssd, and I'm sure it would be a fair bit cheaper. Not to mention the greater compatibility with different music formats... (also, still no touch screen)I want a ipod because I want to upgrade the battery and put a 512gb ssd in it. I dont want anything with a touch screen to distract me from my music.
