Today closely compare WEstone UM2 and Mipro on individual nozzles. A source - Cretive Zen Micro, group And One, song Sometimes.
Westone-Smart, very soft, enveloping bass, middle simple, high seem a little bit synthetic, excellent 3D effect.
Mipro-More alive and natural sound, a vocal is fine, high sound naturally, the bottom bass is badder, therefore drive as with Ум2 all the same it is impossible.

Other opinion which I have found about Mipro:
I had a set of Westone UM2's laying around to compare to the E8P (pro). I found that I had to push more volume to get the same level out of the Mipro E8P's but when I did, the sound was quite good. The E8P had less extream brightness which gave the sound a nice warmth. Also as a result there was virtually none of the high end hiss. The freq response was good. I heard the low end just fine and was impressed enough. My test was done at the desk with some drivin' rock through the computer. I haven't tried these E8Ps on the stage yet.

The set comes with a real nice box and bag (most companys just give you a little case or bag - never both) also included some different types of tips. I still like the Westone Comply Tips which fit the E8P fine.
My Opinion: Great set of ears

Today I have compare Mipro with Ety4.
In my opinion ETy4 gave a little bit more detalising and dynamic range,
but Mipro have a very pleasure(best) vocal and solo guitars...
For me the Mipro E8-P and Ety4 are the best IEM's...

Thank you. i didn't see Mipro in other colours. Some members think that Mipro looks like old Westone, but Mipro has different Impendace-16 Om(old Westone- 27) and sensivity.

Etymotic ER4p
"+"
The excellent different middle and detailed elaboration. A wide range of frequencies. A correct bass down to the lowest frequencies though it is underestimated on a level.
Qualitative armo-piercing made.
"-"
On some records "tstsing", highs and 6 Khz are overestimated.
The design is not ergonomic.

Westone UM2
"+"
Excellent, soft bass
Good planting in ears
"-"
Except for a bass a little that is audible. The middle simple as plywood.
Highs rigid, at numerous instrumentals, sounds turn to a porridge(harsh)
Very the shaky body of headphones.
The wire non-uniformly stretches behind a neck.

Etymotic ER6 I
"+"
Good detailed elaboration
Quite good highs
"-"
Metall tonality
Shaky wire
Problems low frequencies

Mipro E-8P
"+"
Excellent detailed elaboration, very tasty vocal
Good highs
Excellent body, qualitative plastic
"-"
Absence of the lowest frequencies (below 50 Hz)

Westone UM1
"+"
The expressed bass
Good landing in ears
"-"
Except for a bass a little that is audible. The middle are not present.
Very the shaky body of headphones.
The wire non-uniformly stretches behind a neck.

Seem to resemble the E1 shape/sizewise; old westone look as someone mentioned. Nice and small. They would look pretty slick in a gloss black with some matching tips!

Uh, UM2 mids "simple as plywood"? >I don't have a clue what that would mean.

In my opinion mids of Um2 are very simple and dirty.

Mipro only looks like old Westone, but has different armature(dynamic) and different raw material for body; Mipro has the steel armature in the cable as UE3 or UE5, but it looks more stronger.

yeah in the USA it is very possiblle. Search by Internet finders...or on most popular sites.. I find it one time, but this product is for professional musicans, thats why it is hard to find Mipro in usualllys shops
