Be prepared to be surprised. It sounds really great when you customize the settings for your wired headphones. My last handset was the Nexus 6p, and while I don't expect to receive updates the same as with the pure Google device the other features are on par. The screen is smaller, a negative to me. There is very limited bloatware, HTC is using the Google apps. Verizon has added their crap but I just make it disappear. The phone is snappy and the ability to format the micro sd card as one with you internal is a cool feature. The audio is incredible it is actually driving my Pplanar SINE better than my AK120ii.

Native Android Marshmallow (pre manufacturer customisation) allows you to configure the micro SD to be part of the main system memory (extended) - sort of like having a RAID setup (albeit not striping) which means much more space for apps etc...What does it mean?
Not exactly sure what would happen if you set it up and then removed the card though...

What are the advantages of having this feature? Also yes, I've heard it's not good if you do remove

It would be formatted for use only in HTC. It is like merging your internal space with the external to be one drive. But it is encrypted to only be used in that device

Would love an update from you on this, and how the quality is
Well, HTC definitely surpassed my expectations..... in a bad way....
Basically, my order was internally canceled, they never informed me or the website that you can check your order status.
Turns out, their site can't handle an order where you select to pay by paypal, then change to pay by visa (My paypal is linked to the same visa, figured it'd be better to pay direct in case I need to dispute a charge). This small change confused their system into accepting the order and presenting me with confirmation emails and whatnot, so it looked to me like everything was fine. However, to them, the order was canceled, and there was nothing they could do to resurrect it.
So, I had to place another order, and my pre-order $100 discount didn't work. They've assured me that they can and will credit the $100 back.
Right now, my second order is sitting at pending fulfillment. My card has been charged, but so far no $100 refund. I will also likely miss out on those free gifts HTC is mailing out to those who pre-ordered (since my second order isn't a pre-order).
HTC really needs to drop http://www.digitalriver.com/ as their e-commerce partner as this is the second launch in as many months they've botched (take a look at the HTC Vive).
tl:dr; first order silently canceled... waiting on second order to ship.

I received mine on the 5th....pleasantly surprised. Sound quality is great.
It would be really great if you could elaborate
Could you please let us know how it sounds like? Lows,Mids, Higs?
Also comparing with iphones or htc one m8 or any other top phones will be really helpful
I'm searching everywhere to find htc 10's output impedance but I cannot find anywhere. I will be using typical 16 ohm IEMs and I'm not sure if htc 10 is perfect for that

Well, I've now got a tracking number, but as of right now FedEx doesn't know about it. I'm hopeful I'll get it tomorrow or Thursday. Then I'll be attempting to get my $100 back.

Remember that things like this are not HTC's doing, but rather the vendor, Digital River. I like HTC, I dislike Digital River... There system is buggy and full of flaws. But I digress. Call it my call center employee life, but sometimes it helps that the customer understands that they managed to do the one thing that would break the system. But still a shame.
On a side note, I received my HTC 10. So far I love it. You will be pleased with the sound if nothing else. As others have mentioned. performing the frequency test for your headphones helps SO MUCH. You can create profiles for multiple devices as well. The 10 had enough power to PROPERLY drive my Hifiman HE-400's. 75% volume and its almost too loud, proper sound out of them as well. Something the LG G5 could not quite do and the S7 couldn't barely make a proper sound with them.
As for sound quality, I will keep you all updated. I originally purchased a G5 with the intent of using the hifi module, then it was blocked, so I changed up. But I've got access to a G5, S7, and a few others as well to compare everything, sound sigs, ect. If you have questions, let me know. I'll try to indulge your curiousities.

Very much so, would love a comparison between the S7, the G5 and the HTC 10

Yeah, I know it's not HTC directly, but who they farm the work out to. I really wish they'd dump DR and just use Amazon. Amazon has internet store front and distribution down to a science.
I just found out that the distribution center my HTC shipped from is the same exact building that my new Lumia 650 for my Mom shipped from (purchased direct from Cricket). It's actually just a couple hours from my house. Wish I could have just gone there in person to buy my 10.

Well, bright side is it should be there quick . I think you'll be happy after the wait. But as usual, we all wish we could have had it faster.
Received my HTC 10, sound quality is fantastic compared to the m9 before it. The customizable audio profiles are awesome and you can set one for each headphone.
