Nice in picking the SR 225s. I was thinking about getting them as my next headphone upgrade but I wasn't sure.

I heard that they are amazing in SQ for the money you pay for them, and that is what kept me hooked.

The only issue I have with them is their headband is really loose. I thought I was going to have to stretch them out, but I guess not.

I also built an 1/4 to 1/8 inch adapter. Planning on building an extension this weekend.

Try opening it and doing it by ear. You should have a version no newer than 0.9.5.0 (if i recall correctly)... and a lot of people like versions like 0.8.3.0 etc.
Make sure you have a good selection of dsps if you like to tune the output to your ears.

..a second hand set of hd580 would make coldplays pianos sound sweet, and bring out the overrated moroseness in...that guy's....voice.

Now I'm looking for an amp to pair with my Grado SR225's. Not to sure on a price range yet. Throw some ideas.
