New headphones - need help!

Thanks guys.
What about the Shures?
In Denmark (where I'm located) the Shure 440 costs 120 $ and the Shure 840 costs 240. How big is the difference between these two? Is the difference worth 120$? :)

Both of them are excellent headphone! The SRH-440 has a rolled off bass in comparison to the SRH-840. The SRH-840 has more mid bass but still pretty well controlled. It is of corse worth the upgrade but it also does seems like it's a little bit too expensive to buy it at your place

And the costum one pro's and the ATH-m50.. Can I just eliminate these or?

M50 aren't bad if you're looking for something a little more aggressive sounding (more bass and treble). If you want something more neutral, the Shure 440 is a better value at 50% cheaper, and of course there's the excellent K550 for just a bit more.

With the Custom One Pros you're paying a lot for the tunable bass. It might be useful if you want more bass emphasis with certain genres and not others, but if you're ok with neutrality across the board then I wouldn't bother with them.

I have decided to buy 2 pair of headphones (one for me and one for my brother)

One of these for is for my brother. Which one? He is gonna use the headphone almost like me.
 - Sennheiser HD 380 pro
 - Sennheiser HD 439
 - Sennheiser HD 449
 - Shure SRH440

And one of these for me.
 - Shure SRH 840
 - Audio-Technica ATH-M50
 - AKG K550

Is there someone who can list these headphones with points between 1 and 100?
1 point is very neutral (very accurate and regular - a bit borring) and 100 points is very coloured (very bassy and harshness - a bit messy). 50 points is medium of course.

Thanks again, Silas :)

I would say, for you, the AKG K550 is a very firm choice unless you are willing to go for the zap sub m4U1, same price better sound but build quality is on the average (still pretty sturdy thought and it's better than Shure to me)

As for your brother, I would say the Shure SRH-840 if he likes creamy mids and neutral sound or the HD439 for it's imaging and soundstage, not as neutral thought

Out of 100 (the higher the better in terms of SQ and compared to the above mentioned headphone), I would rate the
AKG K550 @ 95
PSB M4U1 @ 98~
Shure SRH-840 @ 80~
Sennheiser HD439 @ 75~

I would rank them as follow [overall]:
1) AKG K550 = PSB M4U1
2) Shure SRH-840
3) Sennheiser HD439
