a nice big set of headphones, and just wear them around your neck when you're not using them. Big clunky headphones are key.

Either that or some IEMs or buds is what I say.

Haha...nooooooooooooot the best idea in college Although it is quite fun when a friend of mine barges into my room (as I am playing a game) - and I just get him into the seat, pop the cans onto his head, and all he can say is 'wow' with a gasp, there is definitely common understanding there =]

What's wrong with your super.fi 5 pros? Sometimes isolation is good...to drown out your neighbor as he/she brings back a screamer in a drunken stupor. Dorms have paper-thin walls, but it can make for good conversation the next day.

Never thought of that for the Sony V6 as winter can warmers. Good idea
