Can the DT 770 be used while commuting like in college campus etc?

DT 770 arrived today. I was blown away LOL. So much better sounding than Skullcandy SK pro. Like SO. MUCH. BETTER. Much more comfortable too.

The M50x's met and surpassed every item on my list. They are comfortable, light and stylish. They aren't as stylish as something like Beats, but nothing is really. The build quality though is wonderful.
