Hi Mary

It's me again :grinning:. Is there a plan to support Roon?

Cheers

Sorry, what's Roon?

https://roonlabs.com

Allows high-res streaming through your house from your music library. If the D100PRO could run Roon, that'd be fantastic.

The relevant page for you: https://kb.roonlabs.com/Roon_partner_programs

What would make the D100 great is if it could do what Sonore's microRendu does. It supports the common types of streaming. That page will give you an idea what is popular nowadays.

Ditto here.

Frankly, I have my doubts D100 is Roon Ready…

D100 is running under Linux 32-bit OS, and Roon does require 64-bit OS to run. Please correct me in case I am mistaken here.

New firmware V1.0.21 for D100Pro was launched, with added AirPlay function, which can transfer any available audio data from iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Mac (request OS X Mountain Lion) to SOUNDAWARE desktop players, (through music services on your iPhone or Mac, such as Spotify and so forth).

Hi Mary

Any chance Roon will be included in the next firmware update?

Ah, gapless is a welcome feature. A cue file will no longer be a requirement then. :)

Thanks
