I'm not sure what that last post meant. Besides the pamphlet, does anyone have any reliable confirmation on the new release announcement and release date? My dealer told me he has not heard anything from the Focal rep. I usually see a flood of sales of the previous model when a new Flagship is in the channel. I don't see all that many 2020 Utopias for sale. Just curious if there is any other 3rd party confirmation. I have been holding off re-purchasing a pair of 2020s and I would like any info available.

I read September 16 or 17th for the official announcement and then shipping late September. My dealer confirmed that ship date

Definitely. I’m contemplating building a new rig with the 4090. I currently have a 2080ti and I can’t wait to upgrade.

I had bought a 3080 FE on October 15, 2020 for 699€ and sold it (summer break) this year for 1100€. Crazy times.

Since the thing is under full load, loud as a turbine, you can not use the Utopia for gaming.
A 200€ ANC headphone has a clear advantage.
Well, sometimes it just comes down to other qualities...

This is really an exciting news for the new Utopia. Really hope it will bring something new to the table.

One thing is clear, at $5,000 I'm out.
As soon as the first used ones settle around 3000, I'm back in.
What I don't like about the current Utopia is that it punishes particularly high volumes with compression. However, it is particularly important to me that I can listen to EDM very loud.
Therefore, I hope that in particular, has been improved
