Entirely new designed M dome drivers? Hoping to see the FR measurements comparison vs the old Clear.

Pink pads?
They're red. It's just the lighting.

Just ordered a pair from Audio46. Will review them in 1-3 days when I get them. tomorrow.

Also, looks like the Clear and Clear Professional might be discontinued now and being replaced by the MG versions. They no longer show up on Focal's website and B&H lists the Clear Professional as being discontinued.
If that's true, it means that Focal has a lot of faith in the new design.

Those are some ugly headphones, why on earth would they include red pads, they look just like beats, black or grey would have been much better.

I disagree. I think they look awesome. I also think Beats look good, they wouldn't be a fashion icon otherwise....

First impressions: They're pretty warm. Much warmer than I was expecting. Bass extension is among the best I've heard and can be heard down to about 19 Hz at moderately loud listening volume. Bass impact is average. Soundstage is maybe slightly smaller than average. Treble seems a bit softer than my preference and I think a little softer than on the original non-MG version (not sure though, I did note that I thought it was a little lacking on the original too), giving a sense that the sound isn't quite as clear or detailed. On my Nectar Hive electrostats, drums have more snap and guitars have more crunch and everything sounds a bit cleaner. On the Focal, everything is a bit warmer and relaxing, probably better for listening at loud volumes for extended periods at a time, especially if you're sensitive to treble. I haven't listened to Focals in a while, but from my memory I think they're pretty similar to the non-MG versions, though maybe slightly flatter with extended bass. I do prefer my electrostats, so IM me if you'd like to buy my Focal Clear MG Professional. I have it listed in the FS.

Thank you for your impressions!

How is the timbre? Cymbals, voices, guitars?

Timbre is pretty on point and more neutral than my electrostats which seem to give slightly too much snap and shimmer and not quite enough oomph to stuff like kick drums. Electric guitars seem slightly less crunchy than they should be on the Clear MG Professional. I can't find any fault with vocals. The mids seem super flat.

"Beats are a fashion icon", I dread to see your wardrobe, I think you mean that Beats paid a ton of "ambassadors" to glorify and overly sensationalize a product that cost $20 to make and retailed for $300. Bad taste creates many more millionaires than good taste.

I call 80s parachute pants, backwards DKNY hat, and lime green sneakers.

A warm, slightly soft, somewhat too smooth tonality are the same sonic characteristics I heard from the one loudspeaker I know of that used a pure Mg midrange driver, the Pioneer S-1EX.

Everything was there, but it lacked some dynamic 'aliveness' in the mids that always bugged me whenever I heard Andrew Jones demo them at audio shows back in the day.

Many reviews and impressions said that the original Clear sounds metallic at times when compared to something like Arya, MG also same?
