I hope it sounds like Earsonics SM64, S-EM6 v1 or at least Velvet v1... I miss the old relaxed, warm yet crisp Earsonics sound. Their recent IEMs sound razor sharp, clinical and so very flat that it's boring.

The EM 10 sound very musical, full and organic, almost to my ears.

I see... I'm not into custom IEMs though. I've recently tried ES3 (owned this), ES5, S-EM6 v2, Velvet v2... Velvet v2 was kind of ok but others I did not like. They sounded clinical.

The Grace combine plenty of technicity but without compromising musicality...

The cat is out of the bag, it’s available at 1200€, 5 drivers like the ES5, vented driver for mids, tuning like the velvet and some elements of the Grace and the TrueWave nozzle of the EM64 a real FrankenSonics... should be interesting

One more over 1000 Euro IEM... ES5, now this...
Would be nice if they can make a 3-4 BA "budget" IEM with a neutral tonality of the unique S-EM6 V2.

I personally can not bear the ES3 - too bassy. So have to listen to q-jays on the go.

Interesting...few months ago I was asking if there will be a new release from the signature serie.
I've been using the Velvet v2 for almost 2 years and I'm really curious if this Purple will be a real improvement over the Velvet, especially for the timbre and tonality because I think I've started to miss the DD sound for this.

I've noticed I'm using the Sony N3 with a balanced cable more often than the Velvet lately...the coherency is really good and the BA is not aggressive at all. The Velvet is brighter/strident.

So the Purple has 2 more drivers but also the price almost doubled...waiting for some impressions.

I received them and will post my impressions soon...

All I can say is that they are really great...
