They have neutral sound. mids are forward and great. highs are smooth but rolled off. and the bass like you want - punchy and tight without going overboard.
 they are very musical to my ears.
If you like acoustic music, they are a great choice.

I see that these are described as neutral. Can anyone tell me how these compare to the HP100/HP150, ATH-A900X, or K550 in overall bass extension, bass emphasis, and perhaps clarity/detail resolution? Accessories4less is running factory refurbished, factory warrantied pairs for $79.99, and was thinking of picking up a pair for portable use.

Just got these on sale open box deal for $50
 
seems like a steal since the MSRP is $320
 
Anyone knows if this gives the open sound stage like the D2000 and D5000? some headphones are incredibly bad when it comes to closed back but I know denon has some sound stage even for closed back
