We are glad to announce that our all new DAP Shanling M2 is coming!
This is a DAP that simplifies all the additional functions and maximizes the joy of listening.
-The thickness is only 13.8mm, with our insistent one-thumb manipulation;
-A new file management system was created for your easiest browsing and playing;
-A new user interface was implemented, bringing you the best system reliability and smooth manipulation;
-Our 27-year Hi-Fi experience provides a unique and pleasing tuning.
At the first stage we would like to share you the final design of this model.

3rd Update: explaining the designing concept of the new wheel

The wheel of M2 learns a lot from those top SLR cameras.
Usually photographers will need to manipulate the camare function with their right thumb, which behaviour is quite similar to that you could use M2 with just one hand.
The out ring turns for scrolling items in the menu, volume adjustment in the playing interface, and the physical separated 5 buttons acts for different functions. Middle for enter/confirm, up for play/pause, down for return, left for backward and right for forward, as printed on the surface.
Logic is very clear and you will never be confused. Just to play it in the hand like a Zippo.
4th Update: Theme/UI design and advanced music file management

1. M2 comes with 3 themes in completely different style, guiding you into different moods of music enjoyment.
2. The all new user interface is designed base on the shape and the funtion of the wheel button. You visional feedback and your physical touching is highly integrated!
3. The music file managing is improved, enabling you to sort out and browse the songs in a easiest way. You can label each song by selecting a label from 75 different classes classified in 6 category. Searching is no more difficult!
