The Ei 3 bass is very well done
Finally took the plunge and bought my first CIEM's.The CIEM I bought was Shini44's Anzu 3. Must say I'm very excited to get them remolded and to hear how they sound. Been doing research for almost a year now trying to find the right CIEM for me. It's a jungle out there. Hopefully they match my ideal sound. Now, to the design. choices, choices...![]()
Quite a weird choice for a first CIEM. Not that it is not going to be an amazing CIEM, but starting with a custom project is definetly an interesting move.
I used to have Music One and it is definitely the best value in custom world period. I have currently Ei.3 with me, if you have questions, I will do my best to help you. Though keep in mind that I didn't spend huge amount of time with Ei.3.
I haven't heard the Music Two but I am sure others can be helpful.
Ei.3 has 2 things that are close to perfect considering the price range. One, bass quality, impact and rumble. Two, tonality. These 2 are very well done while the rest of the spectrum is above average easily. If it is only about the bass impact, maybe Ei.3 might be a good idea.
Also, it is interesting but both my H8 and Ei.3 were made after the same ear impressions but my acrylic Ei.3 fits better and more comfortable. If I would say H8 fits very good, Ei.3 must be perfect. While being new in this acrylic ciem business, I think Peter knows what he is doing.
That's cool bud.
So, which one has better isolation? H8 I think?
After quite a short wait (that felt like eternity to my soul), my Music Ones are finally on their way to me!
Hopefully I'll get them by tomorrow, and I'll get some pictures of the unboxing. As if there weren't enough of those already.
