Don't know what you're talking about.

Your Crescent only got to you a few months ago, that's why it wasn't the initial project that gave me the idea. But don't worry, when I think custom tuned project, I also think Crescent ;)
Too bad it gave you headaches indeed.

No risk for me there, Piotr just did an amazing job with the fit.

Now, I wonder if Piotr will ever do a pair of CIEMs with a sound signature similar to the UERM, just with some proper reference bass response for once.

To be fair, the sound sig I'm thinking of would be a nicely neutral, yet slightly warmish pair of CIEMs, a bit like the Kaiser 10s. But hopefully not as expensive.

But that will have to wait, because my Music Ones are still in the process of manufacturing! :P Maybe in a year or so...

Ei.3?

Isnt the Ei.3 suppose to be fairly bassy? Guess I'll find out soon and maybe im mistaken

I might be in for a bit of a pleasant surprise once the Ei.3 arrive then! I was expecting more of a consumer oriented tuning from the Ei.3

I think it is supposed to be piotrus-g's take on a more consumer-oriented sound signature. But reports I've read have mentioned how surprised they were with the tuning - in a very positive way :L3000:

Why were they giving you a headache then? I was wondering why you were ordering an Ei.3 when you already had that custom project a while back.

6 sound tubes made the canal section too thick. Yes, first ever 6 BA 6 WAY 6 Tubes.. The sound was addicting but I never got to listen to them for a long time unfortunately.

Now I have H8 instead of Crescent. Honestly, I would put them around the same level but a little bit different presentations and signatures from each others. H8 surprised me, not that I was expecting something bad from Peter but oh boy, they really sound stunning. The music is so magical and effortless without losing focus or detail. I wrote my review about them, if you are curious, please do read it though even a long review can't describe how I am happy when they are in my ears

I got Ei.3 for several reasons. I was curious about Peter's first acrylic ciem in his line up, I needed a lower cost ciem cuz I am still a master student, still couldn't finish my studies and I need money.. Long story short, I will "have to" sell my H8 soon in order to complete my studies. I don't wanna talk about it too much here in this thread cut it ain't the place, but I study abroad and me and my family having a bad period of time and it has been on us for a long while..

On the bright side, I am sure as hell once I get my degree and find a job, I know who to send email about buying a ciem, again

Also I am sure there will be new projects and interesting ideas.

I think I read "proper" as more substantial, bigger bass, and he meant probably UERM style bass.
Ei.3 is probably somewhere in the middle between super mainstream and flat. So it's not untextured bloat but it's not weak either. It's healthy amount of bass and depth.

And if one want reference bass quality and smoother signature - Harmony 8 (non-pro) is the way to go
