Just going to share some pictures for now. The only other cans I've listened to extensively are my AKG K702's, UE-11's, E500PTHs, and e4c's. Other than that I've had an hour with UE9's.

I've been playing pink noise, white noise, and sine waves for about 20 hours on these now and I can tell they sound better than when they came out of the box. Here are the photos.

Many more photos. Right now I'm listening through my Pico and these sounds great. I have noticed that 80's music is FANTASTIC out of these things. The bass is amazing but the detail is lacking compared the UE9's. The Soundstage isn't as big as hte K 702s but out of the pico it is a better phone by far. I'll have a new DAC/AMP combo coming in the next two weeks in the form of a WA6 SE with every upgrade and for the DAC I'll have a wavelength Brick, Cosecant, Ayre QB-9, or a psa perfect wave dac then I can do some serious listening and comparisons. Until then I guess!

I particularly like that he can't be bothered to write that they're "New" or "Used" or what kind they started as... no, he's got to circle those.

I'm sure they sound great, but it's just amazing that he prints out these little certificates himself, but still can't be bothered to print them specifically for the headphone he's charging so much to mod.
