the Comductor has some improvement Like :

- his DAC support up to 32 bit through Coax and Tos Link , USB support up 24 bit at 96 KHz
With 10 ppm low jitter clock

- weight 6 Kg

- compare to 160 D , has RCA DAC direct line out and optical input

- the latest feature from Burson the Soloist is 3 level gain setting also there

- the volume control use stepped attenuator

well here we go again burson conductor v3 up and coming. I am taking the plunge and I took advantage of the 400 usd discount. I have been a ha-160 owner for a long time. I have sat on the fence for some time seeing two previous conductor amps go by the wayside. The ha 160 still is a pretty decent headphone amp. adding a premium fuse and upgrading the power cord does help. I was waiting for burson to go to the newer sabre chips. The 9018 was around for a long time but my experience with the newer sabre dac 9038 in project s2 dac was an eye opener. The newer dac chip is considerably more resolved and with none of the digital glare that the previous chip designs could exhibit. Looking forward to getting the new dac shortly. Only wish that burson had included a balanced input and output option. But they did not. But anxiously waiting for my new toy.
