Hi there,
recently, I claimed my Pinnacle P1 for damaged cable, and I chose to get my money back instead of new P1 headphones. The reason is that I was always a bigger fan of warmer headphones with more bass, but I just didn't realise it before I bought my first low/mid-range audiophile headphones (P1).
Pros and cons of P1 (for me):
+ rather neutral and clear audio
+ packaging
+ quality of materials
- weak bass (boosted with G6 amp)
- cords had tendency to get tangled
- no play button
Limit is 200–260€ (220–280$)
Use:
- almost any music genre (cinematic, classical, rock/metal, EDM...) (60%)
- games (40%)
I generally use them on android phone (30%) and my Sound Blaster G6 (70%).
My top pick:
Sony XBAN-3AP 226€
Any help is greatly appreciated!
// Bought Sony XBAN-3AP, quite satisfied. In short: the longer "heads" offer better soundstage, and bass feels more punchy, which is what I was looking for.
