$4000 seems a bit high considering their current flagship is literally half the price at $2000, i could see spending maybe $3000. Will be curious to hear impressions of it but if it's just a little better for twice the price ill keep my LCD-3F thank u very much

^ Insanely high IMO. Enough! I have the 3F, 2.1 and the HD-800 and these are more than enough.

Think the problem is they've seen there has been successful launches at higher prices (HE1000 @ 3k, Abyss @ 5.4k) so they're trying to get in on the ultra high end. Problem is they've already got an LCD-3 that is already twice the price of the LCD-2 but only a little bit better (I've owned both) so unless the LCD-4 is significantly better than the LCD-3 I think 4k is absurd. 2.5k to 3k I think I could get behind but this seems like price gouging.

A very very expansive headphone indeed. Still am not writing this off as I just love the sound signature of the LCD 3F and with better technicalities, especially on speed, openness and clarity it may be the headphone I have always dreamed about.

I would very much like to know how Audeze have undertaken the well-known driver failure problem before I get me a new Audeze thou.
