I'm delighted with the extended 3 year warranty. Gives me a peace of mind if anything should happen to my LCD-3. I'm very glad that Audeze is standing behind their product and giving assurance to their customers that they're all for quality.

Kudos to Audeze! I always appreciate it when a company stands behind it's product...as I say that, the 2 year warranty on my HD800s comes off next month. Grados all have 1 year?

My T1s have a 5 year warranty and my Ed.8s have a whopping 7 years.

Hm, what about LCD-1?

I have not heard about anyone having problems with their LCD-1 - and it was a very small series of 25 units. Mine works perfectly, is light, comfortable (except for the gigantic cable), and sounds great. And if you bought an LCD2 with the discount from having bought an LCD1, then you basically got your replacement already.

My LCD-1 is just fine as well, and I thoroughly enjoy it.

This warranty extension is great news. I've had a few hiccups with my LCD-3's that have had me worried (including channel cutouts when I first got them from even the slightest touch of the headphone jack while plugged in and times when things sound overly 'crunchy') so it's great to hear of them standing by their products.  I've had what I'd consider a 'veil' over the midrange but without any way to compare I didn't want to jump to any conclusions.  So with this news of them admitting there is a problem (despite not being specific), I think I'll send these in and put my mind at ease with everything I've experienced.
