  Was it for allusive posts...?

I wasn't aware he was banned.  However, the mods here aren't particularly fond of discussion of banned members.  Unless it's a case of duplicate accounts, in which they will usually list the aliases in the title area.

The main reason I went to Audeze is that I already have headphones that have very similar sounding compared to K812 (mainly HD800 and Beyer), Isn't it more logical to go for headphones with different sounding and different technology? I am not sure why my decision is dumb.

In away looks like the dynamic hps got to their limits for now, and I'm not even sure what the K812 have to offer over. on the other hand the HE-500 have a good upper mids, but not much else to offer.

I hope AKG haven't given into the bass-heads with these... This seems to be a pattern at the mo. Any more bass than the HD800 then they will be coloured for sure.

True audiophiles know how bass should sound. And it shouldn't be emphasised.

Doesn't the HD800 have a slight mid bass hump, thus it being coloured?

So when is this going to happen?

I posted a really long impression, but it appears it was taken down. I'm assuming because it wasn't my own impression, and that of a colleagues.

No wonder I couldn't find my post on this thread, I indeed posted it on another! Again, take it with a grain of salt, but it does seem to be a build up over the K712.

It wasn't taken down, you just posted it in a different thread:

No, the HD800's is anything but coloured, it is regarded as possibly the most neutral headphone around making it a great versatile tool for monitoring and studio use. The only flaw with the HD800's is the slight treble bump.

Not really! I cant use the HD-800 in the studio because of the treble boost! I prefer the original K702 with the Phonitor, sound more natural without the annoying treble.

I am not studio person myself, but its hard to imagine HD800 to be the one to chose for.

I cannot imagine using any x7xx headphone as a studio monitor tbh... K712 Pro a bit too bassy, the rest of the line too bass shy and treble happy.

HD800 are much more suitable for this purpose - havent heard more neutral headphone so far.
