The newer one is on the right. What will you deduce from that?whats the color difference of the boxes? which one is the new one?

nothing special. I just wonder why they changed it. i'm still learning these headphones. i only have this and my hd600.The newer one is on the right. What will you deduce from that?
No, they were both genuine for sure, and I haven’t heard of any fakes of these.Different colored boxes could be one is a pirate copy, these things happens
so those are the balanced onesFWIW the old box looks like all of the other boxes I’ve seen (and they were the faulty ones) whereas the colouring of the new box (of the orange driver covers for instance) is identical to the colours on the new NDH 20 Black Edition box.
My box is even more neutrally colored. There is no pink/orange hue on the silver/grey parts of the image. And the two channels of the headphone are finely balanced.so those are the balanced ones![]()
You think???? LOLI think that just proves that you can’t tell anything from the colour of the box!![]()
Be sure to wear the headphones properly: the cable on your right ear. The drivers are off center and inclinated so if you wear them backwards you have a loss of high frequencies.i was just joking
anyway, it wasn't easy to get used to the NDH-30 after the HD600, i missed that airy natural feeling first. but somehow, slowly i found that all the sounds have more "weight" in the Neumanns... i don't know. i'm still learning the words how to express my experience.

yes, I'm aware of that.Be sure to wear the headphones properly: the cable on your right ear. The drivers are off center and inclinated so if you wear them backwards you have a loss of high frequencies.
The "weight" that you get with the Neumann is the very low bass that the HD 600 reproduce weakly.
