Nerd, Geek, Dork or Normal?

Nerd: 35%
Geek: 35%
Dork: 5%
Normal: 25%

Classicists with a penchant for opera cannot be 100% normal, but I can manage social interaction without problems. In fact, despite the collusion of my personality and my best efforts, I am well-enough known on campus. Whether or not the consensus is positive is another story...

By your definitions i'm at least 50% Nerd as my life is designed around learning in, staying in and being successful in college.
I am around 30% Geek as I have a low level(compared to others) passion for headphonia (though, when I have the free time, I obsessively manage my music collection and am well on my way to snobberia), and am addicted to psychology and cooking shows riddled with relatively obscure information(Iron Chef and Good Eats have higest priority on my hierarchy of relevision recordation) as well as a growing fascination with the stock market (though that's hardly obscure).
uhh......perhaps only 20% dork (though it feels like more) as I can manage social situations quite well(hey, screw you! i'm working on it), but still often appear aloof and feel quite anxious in them at times due to some conditioning(example psychobabble which has invaded everyday speech) in my pre-college days.
Well, I had to subtract from then add to geek and subtract form dork to break into just 100% so lets just leave normal alone for the time being.

True numbers judging by how I subjectively view the population:
100% Nerd
60% Geek
50% Dork
and perhaps I convince 60% of people that I am normal about half of the time which un-arithmetically averages to 50%

Nerd - 10%
Geek - 45%
Dork - 25%
Normal - 20%

I try to keep a balance of dork and normality (just for the chicks

), and I'm a certified geek. I have a little nerd in me, but I only want to learn about things I'm interested in. That's probably why I struggled through college

Simply "NOT NORMAL", thankyou. I am adjusting well with it over time though.

Actually, I should have asked. Do we do this summation as we are "on the medication" or do we do the summation as if we are "off the medication"?

Should we include any imaginary people in our lives and any illusions we percieve? This could be a profound fact finding thread about our fellow HeadFiers. Will anything mentioned here, from a police report, or the state mental hospital, be kept strictly confidential? We may not look at each other the same way anymore.

Well, to be consistent, how you spend most your time - on or off.

Impossible! Anyone who posts to this thread has to be at least 1% dork! Who else would even be reading it?

(Hey, I'm counting myself it this characterization, so I mean "dork" in the nicest possible way.)
