Once you describe the sound you're looking for, people will bombard you with suggestions.

For example what are you using them for primarily? Gaming? Recording with the 2i2?

Producing music/Referencing... I need a cheap, but good pair of cans, for audio referencing, when I produce, my Electronic music :3

Heya,

$50

Samson SR850
CAD Audio MH310

Very best,

Those CAD's looks nice.. I was watching this video on them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8c25zfkb7o

But like I said before, I am looking for cans, that will be good for referencing, and playback, both in my studio, and playing a live set, at a venue/event.....

I couldn't find any reviews on the Samson SR850, but how do you think they compare to the CAD MH310s

Heya,

Google shows me quite a few reviews of the SR850 when I search it.

Also, here at Head-Fi, I've done one: here.

The MH310 is the same headphone, simply closed back; so expect a smaller sound stage, slightly better sub/mid bass, and potentially a little brighter treble, but otherwise, they're not terribly "V".

Very best,

Heya,

You joined a text forum.

Well, to further help you out, here'a video review of the Superlux HD668B, which is actually the same headphone as the Samson SR850. There's a lot of OEM's of this particular headphone.

Very best,

Very best,

:3 hehe.. The 681's don't look to bad, but I don't really want that open ear design.. Might go with those MH310s.. Any other recommendations?

Also, I just sold a few things on Ebay, so I am back up to the $100 range again :3...

M50s have a V-shaped response.

Umm.. ya idk what that means... :3

I am just looking for something that is good for referencing, Electro House music, when I produce it... I need some closed ear cans, with good low end, and some what high... I don't want a lot of high, where it's colored, like consumer cans...

So to sum it up:

1. Referencing/Producing/Live Set Play
2. Good Low End
3. Closed Ear
