I recently bought an Asus Xonar DS sound card
http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Xonar-Channels-Interface-Sound/dp/B002VAD716

and was wondering what a good op amp upgrade would be.

I use a pair of modded JVC HARX900 headphones
http://www.amazon.com/JVC-HARX900-High-Grade-Full-Size-Headphone/dp/B0013P3ZOE
(these are great for only 60$)

I listen to everything.  from baroque to trance..
I also do a lot of gaming and movie watching.

What is a decent all around op amp(s) that would be a good upgrade from stock?

Or will I not notice a difference between stock and an upgrade?

Or are these amps meant to boost specific things (some bass heavy, some with better mids... ect..)?

--Thanks

The best thing to do is roll op-amps and find one you like. You can try some LME49720NA,OPA2111KP,OPA2107AP. Also the most important thing is, when your installing op-amps you must make sure the notch on the socket match the notch or circle thats on the op-amp. both should be pointing the same direction.

putting it in the wrong way is something you do not want to do.

Also add TLE2081A, HA3-2525, and OPA602B to that list.
