So my er6i somehow give out on the right ear and I attempted to fix it myself, which failed. I'm looking for something 60~160 USD and luckily black friday/cyber monday is around the corner.

I'm looking for something with a more balanced sound but still good emphasis in the mids without the need for extra driving.

I'm targetting more for value (thus the large budget range) than performance and preferably something that's good over-ear.

What have good value in the range, I know that Westone UM1, RE-ZERO, Brainwavz are good (my friend has them) but I'm just looking for other suggestions.

If you liked the ER6is you can always look into the HF5s, which has one of the best price to performance ratios

RE-ZERO is a great option, also I'd take a look at the Nuforce NE-700 if the midrange is crucial to you.

Those are an excellent choice as well, they are very balanced and have a very pleasant presentation.  They are a steal at $40 dollars.
