Hello, Im new to High end portable audio and recently purchased some Shure se530 ear buds and have not recieved them yet but I am interested in getting a small portable amp to go along with my iPhone 3gs. Im looking for small, under $100, and rechargable. Does anyone have any suggestions? This is a newbie question but will something as cheep as the FiiO E5 going to make the sound quality worse or better than just my iPhone alone. Thanks!

My advice would be to go used. You can pick up some pretty sweet amps in your price range in the for sale threads from time to time. Keep an eye out and when one pops up do some research to check it out.

You should also get a line-out dock while you at it. Then again, I don't really think you need an amp at all.

If you're sure about buying one, the T4 is both portable and 104 bucks.
