I've recently decided to get a portable mp3 player and went with the Sansa Clip+ after reading quite a number of reviews on it. However, I'd also like to get a set of IEM's to go with them because I don't want to switch back and forth between my "at home" mp3 player and the portable one.
I'm mainly using it for commutes to and from university, and just for going out in general, but I would like them to have decent noise isolation so that I don't have to crank them up just to hear them while I'm walking. I am one to pay very close attention to traffic, so watching out for cars that won't be a problem.
In terms of what I'm looking for, I prefer a range from techno to rock to hip hop, but I do like having a slightly more pronounced bass, but not so much that it overpowers everything else. My price range is around £40-50, and I was looking at:
Meelectronics M6 - £40 (I also get a free set of headphones with the purchase from their site, which is a bonus)
Brainwavz M2/Visang R03 - £38
Denon C751 - £50
Soundmagic PL50 - £39
I was kinda leaning towards the M2/R03's, but I'm not exactly sure...
I'm open to any advice or new suggestions, so let me know!
