Hi guys, I'm in search of my first high end headphones and need some serious advice from people that know the subject more than me.
I want close back headphones because I will want them to to wear out and about and power them with my iphone. I listen to HipHop so I do want bass heavy headphones but crisp clear highs are also a must.
 
I'm really leaning toward the Ultrasone Pro 900's.
 
My budget is 399 max

I'd strongly advise you to make a short list and try them out first. I'd also add the Momentum's to your list as they also fit the bill for your needs. Great for out & about with good noise isolation, good bass response and iPhone controls. They're also easily powered by the iPhone.
