Need recommendation on Bluetooth headphone

I would generally stay away from any wireless altogether if I can..If your phone comes with 2.5mm headphone jack, buy a 2.5 to 3.5 mm adapter and use a regular headphone. Sound coming from bluetooth headset sounds worse than FM radio. Bluetooth simply cannot transfer enough information to be effective.

Wired > RF > FM > Bluetooth > AM IMO

The one I use the MOST is the Motorola S705 BT pendant, which lets me plug in ANY stereo headphone I want, so I can use my Livewires, or PX100, or Grados, etc... With my Verizon "I spend a lot with them" discount, it was under $75. It has a microphone for phone calls, and includes an Fm radio to listen to! I can find not fault with this device.

The Jabra BT620 mentioned above actually sound fairly decent, look better on the head than Moto HT820 (and sound better), and can be used for music and phone calls too. My only complaint about them is they are easy to accidentally turn on and then when you need them the battery is dead. The press and hold left earpiece center button to turn on is just too short, and if they are in a fanny pack, or briefcase then things rubbing up against them turn them on.

The sound on the Jabra BT8010 is nothing to write home about. The Moto S9 look good, and sound is decent too, but they are still over $100.

My Creative SE2300 sound good, but are stereo music only and no phone calls allowed. Their included transmitter doesn't have a lot of gain, but you can hook the transmitter up to a headphone amp output, and then the headphones sound great.

There you go!

hmm, weird, i swear i posted here but it wasnt here. anyways.

If your friend really wants wire LESS, then id recommend Jabra and ONLY jabra.

Bt320s - I have this myself (using as a remote for p2). This basically lets u plug w/e headphones you want in there. It has talking capabilities for phone, and standard multimedia buttons. Also it is water resistant (not waterproof)

Bt8010 - moving up the chain, these cant let u plug w/e in it, but then it has supreme voice capabilities, this is more for the people who are on the phone more.

I beg to differ. Bluetooth v2.0 with EDR (enhanced data rate) can transfer up to 3Mbit which is more than sufficient for HQ audio. I own a SonyEricsson w950i and the Headset HBH-DS200 to connect any 3.5mm headphone. I also use a JBL Reference 610 headphone. Both are Bluetooth v2.0 and the sound quality is excellent.

IMO: Wired > BT2.0 EDR > RF > FM > AM

Thanks for all the suggestions.
However, he doesn't really need phone call capability since he will just use it with a laptop.

Plus, he wants a full size can...

(what a freak...-.-)

Pulsar is a full size BT can.

However, I would stress the Motorola S705 which I use to listen to my TV or DVD in my bedroom, and it ALLOWS YOU TO CONNECT FULL SIZE CANS like Sennheiser HD600, RS-1, AKG701, whatever you want.

I have the Moto D800 BT transmitter hooked up to my AV receeiver, so I can listen to TV, DVD or Apple TV when I'm in bed, and I plug in whatever headphone I want into the S705 receiver. Sound quality is actually decent for wireless.

Motorola makes a full size set of bluetooth headphones that look like a pair of AT DJ headphones. I think newegg.com has them
